Keycloak manages this connection. Sign in as a realm administrator to edit the SMTP server, port, sender address, authentication and TLS settings, then save and send a test email.
Configure email connectionYour email password stays in Keycloak. A subscription account does not grant administration access.
Local captured inbox
Account emails currently use the local captured inbox. You can open activation and recovery links here while external delivery is unavailable.

- Save the email connection and send a test from Keycloak.
- Confirm the message reaches the intended inbox.
- Complete a test purchase and activate the account from its email.
Saving SMTP settings or seeing a provider accept a message does not confirm inbox delivery. The portal delivery mode must match the operator’s service configuration.
